Senior Programmer Analyst Job Id (Use when Referring to Position): TO1025 Job Type: Full-time Direct-Hire Location: Medford, OR Minimum Experience: 2 Years Compensation: $95,000 a year   Job Description: Will provide technical leadership to other developers, investigates new technical tools and resources for use by others in the department, work with management to determine technical standards, work with end users, management and support staff to identify areas where new applications will solve business problems, and document new applications as needed to deploy application to the user community. Will also identify and minimize risks to implementing new applications, train other developers and support staff on new applications, tools and utilities, work with other IT staff to solve business problems as needed and utilize project management tools to update end users and management on progress. Skills Required: Working knowledge of Perl, Java, and Ruby languages. Working knowledge of Apache and Oracle SQL. Working knowledge of CVS, Aegis, Subversion or other revision control systems. Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript preferred. General working knowledge of Windows and/or Macintosh operating systems, and general office automation tools like Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong understanding of software application lifecycle in a team environment. Understanding of test-driven development. Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, especially the ability to multi-task. Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in workgroup and technical support scenarios. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Capable of providing direction to less experienced programmers. Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a project team. Ability to represent the company in a professional and positive manner and promote company values. Degree Required:  Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
