Large corporation is currently searching
for a Staff Accountant due to internal promotion for
its Financial Analysis department.
This position applies knowledge of
accounting and analytical ability to prepare
financial statements for a wholly-owned subsidiary;
to prepare complex reconciliations and supporting
schedules relative to the assigned accounts; and to
prepare monthly journal entries that impact the
assigned balance sheet and income statement
accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelors Degree in Business
Administration, Accounting, or related field 2. One
(1) year work experience in a financial accounting
role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial statement
preparation and the financial close process.
4. Personal computer background with
experience using Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
5. Demonstrated excellent oral, written,
and interpersonal skills.
6. Demonstrated analytical and
organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently. Preferred
qualifications:

preferred.
